Start with the exact product instructions
Foam formulations and finishes differ. We have not verified a universal cleaning method approved for all three catalog models. Look for the instructions supplied with your ball or ask the maker before applying a liquid or chemical cleaner.
A cautious inspection checklist
Before practice, check for sharp debris, tears, crumbling or a lasting change in shape. Stop using a damaged ball. A soft appearance is not proof that the structure is intact.
If the surface is dusty, ask whether the maker permits a dry soft cloth. Do not assume soaking, machine washing, disinfectants or abrasive scrubbing are appropriate. We are deliberately not prescribing those methods without product-specific approval.
Keep the practice area clean and dry
A dry stable floor helps prevent slips and reduces the chance of grit reaching the ball. Keep the ball away from sharp objects and do not drag it across rough surfaces. Follow any storage temperature and sunlight guidance from the manufacturer.
If the ball gets wet or loses its shape
Stop using it until the maker’s instructions establish what to do. Do not apply heat, force it back into shape, or pump an airless foam model. These improvised fixes can be unsuitable for its construction.
Keep the receipt and model details
If damage appears early, contact the actual seller or maker with your order details and photographs. Return and warranty terms belong to that seller. SilentBasketball.info does not process refunds or warranty claims.
Read our materials guide to see why the exact construction matters.
